KIS (short for the Dutch name: Koepel Internationale Studentenorganisaties) has had a seat in Radboud University’s Student Council since 1997-1998.
Until 2012-2013 KIS was run by the student liaison officer, who was responsible for both the cooperation of the united international student organisations and for taking place in the Student Council.
In the year of 2012-2013, the first executive board was elected and the umbrella organisation was formally founded. This new start offered the possibility of changing the name of the organisation: since January 2013 KIS has been renamed to ISON, International Student Organisations Nijmegen.
